Our escape room facility is a popular one! We highly recommend making a reservation at least a day or two in advance. We tend to book up the day before/morning-of during the Winter and Summer months. In the off-season, there is a chance you can walk in and pick your room and time.
It depends how many people are in your group – $40/pp for 2 players, $39/pp for 3-4 players, $38/pp 5+ players.
Kids 6 and under are free, and groups of 20 or more receive a discounted rate, call to inquire.
You have 45 minutes to escape and we advise you to set aside roughly 1 hour for the entire experience. Each group is asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their reserved time to allow for our check-in process and instruction prior to entering the room.
2 players are all it takes to Escape! Our maximum group size is 6 players for each theme.
We have 1 complimentary locker per room which is available at the time of your reservation until the end of your game. The lockers can fit jackets and bags only, they are not large enough to store skis or snowboards and there is nowhere in our reception these items can be left so please have this organized prior to arriving.
No matter how large your group is (2-6 pax) when you reserve a room, it is yours to escape from within 45 minutes. There is no need to spend 5 minutes of your precious time breaking the ice with people you have never met!
We have four wheelchair-accessible rooms to choose from – The Buried Cabin, Pinball Machine, Yukon Gold and The Underwater Lair.
We are also happy to be a part of the Access-2 Canada program!
Comfortable casual clothing is best! The game is not super active but you will want to be able to move with ease.
High heels are not recommended.
Any form of fancy dress is not recommended for the Yukon Gold escape room.
Ski gear is fine but normal shoes or snow boots are required. No ski boots or bare feet are allowed.
Our locker storage is only large enough to hang jackets, so please leave your skis or snowboards behind as there will be nowhere in our establishment to store them.
One thing is certain, no one is left behind! Your games master will open the door at the end of your game to let you out of the room, either revealing the remaining puzzles or keeping them a secret in case you choose to attempt the same room again!
All cell phones and any camera devices must be locked away in provided complimentary lockers for the game. Siri or Alexa will be no help to you in these rooms and we like to keep images of our rooms off of the internet 😉

We take payment for the full reservation in order to secure your booking. Visa, Mastercard, and Amex accepted for online bookings.
We have a strict 24hr cancellation policy with no refund for changes, no shows or cancellations to your booking within 24hrs of your reserved time.
We do understand that things out of your control can happen. Please call us as soon as you know you cannot make your reservations and we will do our best to accommodate.
Due to our set schedule throughout the day, and out of courtesy to guests with later reservations, we cannot delay your designated starting time. Your 45 minutes will start at your reserved time. If you show up late, you will simply have less time in the room to Escape! *Please Note* Each group is kindly asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their reserved time to accommodate our check in process and pre-game instructions.
Kids 13 years of age and older may play our games on their own. If anyone from the group is 12 years of age or under, an adult 19+ years of age must accompany them in the room.
Each room is very different in terms of difficulty, style, and things you must accomplish. If you are an Escape Room veteran, you will be fine to try any of our rooms straight off the bat. If this is your first time, we suggest choosing the Pirate Ship which is our beginner game. It’s a great introduction to how our games work and still quite challenging with only a 25% success rate in the 45 minutes. (That percentage includes asking for clues!)
Our games are suitable for all ages and are a fantastic team building or family outing activity for everyone to enjoy. From young children to teenagers, 20-30-year-olds to mum and dad, right through to grandma and grandpa…everyone will have a blast escaping from our awesome rooms!
You can exit the room at any point during the game. For safety reasons the door you enter will always be unlocked.
We have had many guests bring claustrophobia concerns to our attention. Once players know they can exit the room at any time, they have always been comfortable inside! Escape Rooms are 110% an experience you want to be on top of your game for. Being under any influence of drugs and/or alcohol will take away from the experience in a negative way.
Team members of Escape! Whistler reserve the right to refuse entry without refund to groups that arrive displaying signs of being drunk and unruly or under the influence of any substance. This is a turbo fun sober activity!
